Hi Everyone,
My name is Vénice, I’m 28 years old and I live in Amsterdam. This year, along with the Run for Life Team 2023, I’m taking on a big challenge; on November 5th, I’ll be running the New York City marathon to raise funds for the KWF Cancer Foundation and to raise as much as possible!
Unfortunately, cancer is a disease that touches all of us, whether through personal experiences or the experiences of friends and family. KWF Cancer Foundation does incredible work to fight this illness and improve the lives of those affected by it. I want to contribute my part to this mission.
Running 42 km won’t be easy, but it’s the challenge and the purpose that motivates me. The NYC Marathon is the world’s largest marathon, and I feel honored to be a part of it.
I’d like to ask for your support and help in making a donation with the goal of enabling better research. Every contribution, big or small, will aid in the fight against cancer.

Resultaten Run for Life
MISSIE
Run for Life is in 2010 opgericht met één missie: Het lopen van de marathon van New York met als doel zoveel mogelijk geld op te halen voor KWF Kankerbestrijding via sponsoring.
FINANCIEEL RESULTAAT
Tot 2022 heeft Run for Life maar liefst € 304.088,81 opgehaald voor KWF Kankerbestrijding.
RENNERS
In 12 jaar tijd hebben 221 renners met ons meegelopen, een geweldige prestatie! Hierop voortbouwend gaan we in 2023 voor de 13de keer met een nieuw team maar met dezelfde toewijding voor ons doel.
VOORUITGANG
In 1949, het oprichtingsjaar van KWF Kankerbestrijding, was slechts 25% van de kankerpatiënten 5 jaar na de diagnose nog in leven. Dit percentage is sindsdien gestegen naar 65%. Een mooi resultaat, maar er is nog een lange weg van veel onderzoek te gaan.
