In 15 jaar tijd hebben 323 deelnemers met ons meegedaan, een geweldige prestatie! Hierop voortbouwend gaan we in 2026 voor de 16de keer met een nieuw team maar met dezelfde toewijding voor ons doel.

In 1949, het oprichtingsjaar van KWF Kankerbestrijding, was slechts 25% van de kankerpatiënten 5 jaar na de diagnose nog in leven. Dit percentage is sindsdien gestegen naar 65%. Een mooi resultaat, maar er is nog een lange weg van veel onderzoek te gaan.

* Dit is de totale opbrengst van Run for Life Team 2026 tot nu toe. De uiteindelijke gift aan KWF Kankerbestrijding kan uiteindelijk lager uitvallen in verband met organisatielasten en de cashback-regeling. Iedere Deelnemer verbindt zich jegens Run for Life tot het binnenhalen van € 1000,- aan donaties en/of sponsorgelden ten behoeve van KWF Kankerbestrijding. Indien de Deelnemer de Minimale Sponsoring heeft opgehaald, dan mag de Deelnemer Run for Life verzoeken om tot EUR 2.000,- (tweeduizend euro) 50% (dus tot maximaal EUR 1.000,-; duizend euro) uit sponsor- en donatiegelden in mindering te brengen op de reiskosten, mits voldaan is aan de voorwaarden van de cashback-regeling.
